Elissa graduated from Curtin University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science (Podiatry). After graduating, she moved to the northwest of Tasmania and worked for the Tasmanian Health Service, visiting satellite clinics to provide much needed podiatry services. Elissa worked within a multidisciplinary team to educate and treat diabetic patients.
Elissa then moved back to WA and worked in a community health setting providing care to geriatric, diabetic and paediatric patients before taking some time off to start her family. She has worked with Junction Foot and Ankle since her return to the workforce and enjoys treating the wide ranging conditions that present to the clinic.

She still keeps her toes in the podiatry arena and continues to work at Junction on some Saturdays.
In her spare time Alix enjoys socializing with family and friends, travel, pilates, music and spoiling her Irish Setter. She is also a West Coast Eagles supporter, which makes for interesting conversation amongst all the Fremantle supporters at Junction Foot and Ankle Group!
