At our clinic, we have premium facilities to treat a wide range of conditions.

As a local, family run practice, Junction Foot and Ankle Group prides itself on maintaining high standards of patient care.

We have spacious consultation rooms equipped with the latest treatment chairs and instruments to provide you with the best treatment outcomes.

From our stringent instrument sterilisation process, through to the friendly and caring attitude of our staff and our bright, modern clinic, our practice is built around our aim of providing complete patient care in a friendly atmosphere.

Biomechanical analysis

At Junction Foot and Ankle Group, we also have a dedicated room for computerised video walking and running (biomechanical) analysis - also known as computerised video gait analysis.

Using a multi-speed electronic treadmill on a purpose-built elevated platform, a digital video camera is used to analyse your individual walking and running style.

All this is connected to a computer station which runs a specifically designed computer program called SiliconCoach Pro®. This equipment and software helps your Podiatrist demonstrate your walking or running style before and after treatment so that you can see the results.

We can also give you a copy of your analysis on CD, which can be viewed on any Windows based computer. This is particularly beneficial when shown to another treating practitioner or sports coach who may also be involved in your management.

Junction Foot and Ankle Group also has an onsite orthotics or prescription shoe insert modification room. Fitted with all the necessary equipment and custom-designed dust extraction ventilation system, we can often adjust or manufacture some devices onsite. This means you don't have to wait weeks for a laboratory to make minor adjustments to your device, saving you time and allowing you to avoid the inconvenience of being without your shoe inserts or innersoles.

Minor procedures

We also have a small, dedicated procedure room to conduct minor procedures such as ingrowing toenail or wart removal.

We pride ourselves on our cleanliness and instrument sterilization procedures, at Junction Foot and Ankle Group. All staff members are trained to be meticulous in instrument preparation.

All our general treatment and minor surgical procedure instruments go through a multi-step preparation process. This includes enzyme removal pre-soaking, manual cleaning, ultrasonic instrument washing, and instrumentation milk before placement in individual instrument bags ready for sterilization using Australian Standards and equipment.

For the safety of all patients and visitors to Junction Foot and Ankle Group, all our staff and practitioners have current certification in resuscitation techniques.
